Oakdale is a purpose built, state of the art 58 bed Nursing Home on a stunningly well manicured site in the town of Portarlington on the Laois/Offaly border. The Nursing Home was constructed to the highest standards.

Oakdale is owned and managed by a group of local people among them the Director of Nursing, Valerie Moore RGN and the Medical Director, Dr. Adrian Honan.

Oakdale Nursing Home delivers high quality person centred care in homely surroundings by a team of professional and dedicated carers where each resident is treated with respect and dignity.

We encourage and involve both the resident, their family and friends to be active participants in developing their own unique plan of care during their stay with us.

Oakdale comprises of 40 single and 9 double rooms all with en-suite facilities. Each bedroom is furnished to the highest standard with phone line, computer data point and cable TV.
